Animal Jam: My Game Review

Animal Jam is a game made by National Geographic Kids. You can buy clothing and pick from these animals: A panda, seal, koala, tiger, wolf and penguin.

My sisters and I play Animal Jam, and we love it! The nick-name for Animal Jam is AJ. In AJ you can learn about plants growing in the land. You learn what animals eat and where they live.

You can buy a membership for 3 months, 5 months, or 12 months. 12 months is really expensive... it is 50.00! We play for free, but I think we should buy an account because you can get gifts every month, more dens and pets!

You can change the color and pattern of your animal. You can buy a new house if you are a member. You can also trade items to other people, and you can decorate your Den (house)! You can also go to parties like the christmas and trading parties! A trading party is where you lots of players come and trade items.

To play AJ you go to www.AnimalJam.com

The Ghost Men

I was lost in the dark woods.
I came across some men in hoods.
They were standing in a swampy pond.
The tallest one was waving a magic wand.
I could imagine his old shriveled hand.
Pointing to me with a command,
"Come here girl, be fast!
We've eaten all the other children, and you are last!"

Chicken' Lickin' and Honey Bunny Bees

At my school we have chickens and honey bees. Last year I got to wear the bee keeper uniform. It was baggy and the helmet was hard to see through because of the mesh that protects you from the bees.

My favorite chicken is Tiny. She is brownish gold. She can not fly over the chicken coop fence, but some of the chickens can escape. Parents have to drive very slow.

Sisters

I have two sisters named Reese and Raleigh. They are twins and they look a lot alike each other. I can always tell them apart though. This is a baby picture of them.

I will tell you three things I like about each of them.

1. Reese is thoughtful and tries to make everyone happy.

2. She always lets me play in her room.

3. She is funny - she can talk like Shirley Temple.

Now I will write about Raleigh.

1. Raleigh is so cute because she is really sweet.

2. She lets me read stories to her. Her favorite is Splat the Cat.

3. She is hilarious - she can imitate the Lorax.

Sometimes I don't like having sisters because they exclude me.

One of my friends has a brother, that annoys her a lot, I'm glad i don't have a brother! My best friend has two little sisters like me.

I think that I am a good leader for my sisters. I try to be nice to people and I try to help people.

Fort Fun Part 2

I promised you could see some of my fort. Here is a video and pictures for you to see!

These are the bedrooms in my fort. I have two younger sisters. They are twins named Reese and Raleigh. Reese and I are laying in the beds we built out of wood.

This is Raleigh in my fort. In my video, I will show you the new additions to my fort!

Book Ideas for Kids

We went to Barnes and Noble last night. I picked out some books that I thought kids my age would like to read. My Mom said she was taking notes for my birthday and Christmas.

Sounds of the Wild - Mythical Creatures by Maurice Pledger

This book is neat because all the animals are fantasy creatures like dragons, werewolves, and unicorns. The animals pop up and there are all sorts of sounds they might make if they were real.

I love Shel Silverstein poems because they are so funny. Nasty School is my favorite. Here's part of that poem. It is silly.

You get to nasty school through a secret gate.
The first rule is you must be late.
Your hands and face must be all caked with dirt.
There must be lots of grease and gravy spots upon your shirt.
In class, instead of listening, you just talk,
And make those awful squeaks upon the blackboard with your chalk.
You must make sure your shoes are wet and muddy,
And as for homework, you must guarantee you haven’t studied.

I have only read the first Emily book by Liz Kessler. I want the rest of them for my birthday. She is half girl and half mermaid. Emily has a lot of adventures. Under the sea is a whole world where Neptune is in charge.

Goddess Girls is by Joan Holub and Suzanne Williams. My school library has a lot of these books. I have not read this one yet. They are all written at a school called Mt. Olympus Academy and sometimes the gods and goddesses have olympics. You can learn about Greek myths for fun if you read these.

This is such a cool book. It has all sorts of weird animals like a hairless cat. You should get this if you like learning things that not everyone knows already.

Monkey Quest: My Game Review

The first game I was allowed to play on the computer was Monkey Quest made by Nickelodeon. I would recommend Monkey Quest as a starter game to people that like fashion and playing a game with other people. You can dress your monkey in a lot of different clothes.

A good thing about the game for young kids is that you can't say certain things on chat. For example, you can't write numbers (except 1), names (except character names) or bad words.

Unless you want to read chat, you can play this game without being able to read yet.

The point of the game is to gain experience by killing monsters with a sling shot and a sword. There is no blood, and I don't think anything is scary in the game.

Monkey Quest can be slow to load on older computers.
